The Green Heron is the newest project from the team behind The Red Tail Beer & Wine Bar, bringing fresh energy to the historic Haight and Clayton corner once home to Hobson’s Choice. Just one block from Haight-Ashbury, we’ve created a welcoming neighborhood spot to enjoy fresh takes on classic cocktails like the Elder Old Fashioned and the il Primo Negroni alongside a curated selection of local craft beer and wine. While we don’t have a kitchen, guests are welcome to bring in their favorite takeout to pair with drinks. We can’t wait to see you all and add a new chapter to this iconic space.
